Hello there
I am here to ask you guys about wiring an ice shaver
I already power the ice shaver (3000 snowie model - 120 volt -1200Watt ) from truck(step van p30 6v- 4.3 ) alternator(I think it is 105 watt) through 2 new(12 v each , Duralast/12 Volts, 1000 CA marine dual purpose battery )

I don`t use any extra`` batery charger`` to recharge batteries.
You may think that that sounds great but it is not.

The problem is, the shaver works well as long as the engine is on.
Once the truck engine is off the shaver can not get enough electric to work, makes couple snow cones, then it stops.

I know it should not be like that,
I guess I am doing some thing wrong with wiring or looks like battaries don`t get charged by alternator.
Or some thing wrong with batteries.

is this NORMAL?
What am I spous to do,to make system work while the truck is off(at least for a while)
Thanks
Itsy`s
